The Formax FD 6406 Series Inserters offers both flexibility and speed. It is available with up to 6 stations and several different input configurations. From a high-capacity document feeder that can hold up to 725 sheets, 1 or 2 high-capacity production feeders, standard and special feeders, and even short feed trays.
Standard features of the FD 6406 include a 7” graphics-based, color touchscreen control panel and the ability to store up to 50 programmed jobs for fast,
easy set-up. A high capacity vertical output stacker that can hold up to 500 filled envelopes, a large, top-loading envelope hopper that holds up to 325 envelopes and can be reloaded while in use for continuous operation. The FD 6406 has impressive folding capabilities, up to 10 sheets at one time (half fold) or 8 sheets (tri-fold). Cascade mode can be used to link feeders for continuous operation without lag time. As soon as one feeder is empty, the next one automatically takes over. Built in double document detectors ensure no double documents are fed into the system. An energy saving auto standby mode is activated after the machine is idle for an hour.Other available options include: a CIS Scanner, high-capacity production feeders, short feed trays for small inserts or BREs, side exit trays, even custom cabinets.
