Users can position the backgauge with the convenient hand crank, and the precision backgauge spindle guarantees exact cuts. After the backgauge is set and you are ready to make your cut, simply press the two-step activating bars. Both the clamp and blade are controlled by the "Easy Cut" activating bars. Separate trigger points on these bars prompt the blade and clamp independently. The Easy Cut system ensures true two-hand operation for heightened user safety. An optical cutting line with bright and durable LEDs dictate exactly where the cut will be made.

The Safety Cutting System (SCS) provides additional safety features. The hinged safety guard located on the front table is electronically controlled and safety cover on the rear table protect the user against harmful cutting. Cuts can only be executed when this hinged safety shield is closed and secured.
