Description of the HSM Securio P40i High Security Shredder
The HSM Securio P40i High Security Shredder is one of the top of the line high security shredders that HSM has to offer.The P40i comes equipped with a 100% solid steel cutting cylinder, ensuring the high cutting capacities. Capable of handling up to 14 sheets at once, it will shred each document into 12,065 tiny, confetti-like pieces making it ideal for the destruction of documents with highly sensitive information. The continuous duty motor can handle the workload of any busy office or department.
The HSM Securio P40i offers no hassle operation and convenient features both inside and out. Documents are easily fed into the 13" feed intake and shred empties into a large 40 gallon bin. Shred levels can be monitored using the inspection window on the front of the shredder, there is also an indicator light to alert the user when the bag is full. Simple one button operation with a separate reverse button plus multiple indicator lights show shredder status at a glance. Need this shredder in another part of the office? Built-in casters make the P40i simple to relocate.
Maintenance is never an issue since the P40i comes with an automatic oiler. The automatic oiler lubricates the cutters with no outside assistance. The Securio P40i is also equipped with JamStop Anti-Jam Technology. This technology automatically prevents and, if need be, clears paper jams. When the shredder is overloaded with documents, it will automatically switch to reverse mode in order to stop a jam from occurring or to clear a jam that has already occurred. What really makes the Securio P40i high security shredder great for busy offices is its quiet operation.
When this shredder is being used, it will be no louder than a whisper. This makes any department or office a much better work environment. Not only is it an extremely quiet shredder, it is also an environmentally sound shredder, thanks to the energy management control system that reduces power consumption when it is in standby mode. HSM Securio (Models AF150, AF300, AF500, B22, B24, B26, B32, B34, B35, P36i, P40i, P44i) – Office / Large Office / Department Shredders
Parts and labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to three (3) years from date of invoice. Strip and Cross Cut Cutting Rollers are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for the life of the shredder from the date of invoice.
Level 5 and High Security Level 6 Shredders
Parts & labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to three (3) years from date of invoice. Cutting Rollers on all high security units that have an oiler installed are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for five (5) years from date of invoice. Failure to lubricate these machines properly will void the warranty. Cutting Rollers on High Security Shredders purchased without an oiler are warranted for one (1) year.
HSM Standard Warranty
HSM warrants that any new products sold will be free from defects in material and workmanship when used under specified and normal operating conditions. This warranty is void if repairs are necessitated by accidents, misuse, abuse, water damage or fire. Please read the Manufacturer’s Operating Instructions, included with the product, prior to operation, to help ensure all precautions are taken to avoid canceling the manufacturer’s warranty. Modifications, alterations and repairs must be performed by an authorized technician. Lubrication for cross-cut shredders is required every fifteen to thirty minutes of operation, to maintain top working condition and this warranty.
In all cases, the final authority in determining cutting system defects lies with the manufacturer. All cutting systems must be returned to the manufacturer.
