Description of HSM Securio B32 L6 Cross Cut Shredder
As far as high security shredders go, you cannot go wrong with the HSM Securio B32 High Security Cross-Cut Shredder. The B32 is one of the most reliable high security shredders on the market. It comes with the latest JamStop Anti-Jam Technology, which prevents paper jams when the shredder is overloaded with documents. When it's overloaded, it will automatically switch to reverse mode until the jam is completely cleared. It also has a continuous motor that allows for continual shredding, giving employees more time to be productive.
The HSM Securio B32 is not bulky and very easy to relocate within an office, especially with the casters located at the bottom of the shredder. Its dimensions are 15.7" D x 19.6" W x 31.2" H and it weighs only 60 lbs. However, the B32 is still a high security shredder and is designed for busy offices that have to rid themselves of documents containing highly sensitive information. It can shred up to 9 documents at once. It is a level 6 cross-cut paper shredder, so it thoroughly destroys documents, shredding each document into 12,065 tiny shred particles. The shreds will fall into its 21.7 gallon waste bin, which can be viewed through the window on the front. The Securio B32 comes in white with a tinted window on the front, giving it a more modern look. You can monitor the filling level of the waste bin by simply looking through the window. When you see that it is full, you just need to open the shredder door and take the bag out and replace it.
What's really unique about the Securio series that HSM has developed is its energy management control system. When compared to other shredders with a standby switch, the B32 can reduce the amount of power your shredder uses by up to 90%. Not only does it save energy with its standby mode, it also lubricates its cutters automatically. The Securio B32 comes equipped with an automatic oiler, which will lubricate the cutters so you don't have to. When you're using this high security shredder, others around you won't be distracted by the noise most shredders make because the B32 was built for quiet operation. Instead, this shredder will be no louder than a whisper, so you don't have to worry about distracting other co-workers. The B32 is also very easy to operate. HSM Securio (Models AF150, AF300, AF500, B22, B24, B26, B32, B34, B35, P36i, P40i, P44i) – Office / Large Office / Department Shredders
Parts and labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to three (3) years from date of invoice. Strip and Cross Cut Cutting Rollers are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for the life of the shredder from the date of invoice.
Level 5 and High Security Level 6 Shredders
Parts & labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to three (3) years from date of invoice. Cutting Rollers on all high security units that have an oiler installed are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for five (5) years from date of invoice. Failure to lubricate these machines properly will void the warranty. Cutting Rollers on High Security Shredders purchased without an oiler are warranted for one (1) year.
HSM Standard Warranty
HSM warrants that any new products sold will be free from defects in material and workmanship when used under specified and normal operating conditions. This warranty is void if repairs are necessitated by accidents, misuse, abuse, water damage or fire. Please read the Manufacturer’s Operating Instructions, included with the product, prior to operation, to help ensure all precautions are taken to avoid canceling the manufacturer’s warranty. Modifications, alterations and repairs must be performed by an authorized technician. Lubrication for cross-cut shredders is required every fifteen to thirty minutes of operation, to maintain top working condition and this warranty.
In all cases, the final authority in determining cutting system defects lies with the manufacturer. All cutting systems must be returned to the manufacturer.
