The wide, 12" feed opening handles up to 20 sheets, at 30 feet per minute, and produces 3/32" x 5/8" waste. These particles fall into the high capacity shred bin. This heavy-duty, plastic shred bin makes bags optional and allows for trouble-free disposal. The "ECC" (Electronic Capacity Control) indicator displays the sheet capacity levels and helps you verify whether the Destroyit 3105 has become overloaded. If a paper jam occurs, the shredder automatically enters reverse mode and shuts off until the problem is repaired.
