The Destroyit 2604 strip cut paper shredder by MBM is ideal for everyday, mid-volume shredding. Capable of shredding 30 sheets at a time and possessing high non-paper shredding capability, this strip cut model offers great capacity. The single phase motor allows the Destroyit 2604 to run smoothly and quietly, guaranteeing little disturbance in your office. When you're feeding paper, credit cards, paper clips and CDs into the machine, your eyes are protected from any flying debris by the electronically controlled safety shield over the feed opening. This safety shield is a part of the standard Safety Protection System (SPS), which also includes automatic reverse and power cut-off features in case of a paper jam.
The strong "twin drive system" has a dust-proof gear enclosure to prevent rusting. Shred bags are not even a necessity with this shredder, as it provides a large and durable shred bin. Jams are unlikely to occur, thanks to the Electronic Capacity Control (ECC) indicator, which displays sheet capacity levels during shredding.
