i-control: Advanced user interface panel that controls shredder functions and notifies users of operations. Includes user lock, service information, bin is open, bin is full, paper jam and motor overheated icons.
Ecologic: Energy management and saving technology to minimize energy costs. The shredder is put into sleep mode after a period of inactivity, eliminating power usage. To awaken, simply touch the i-Control button.
Silentec: Sound dampening materials and a spring-mounted shredder block are built into the shredder to absorb sound and reduce noise pollution in your office.
DLS (Dynamic Load Sensor): DLS detects the volume of paper being fed into the cutting unit. This functions to prevent users from attempting to shred too much at once.
2x2 Cut & Collect System: An additional slot that allows for the destruction of CDs, DVDs, credit cards and other mixed media. Non-paper waste is disposed of into a separate waste bin to aid in proper recycling.
