The Destroyit 5009 high capacity shredder promises extreme power and efficiency, and it consistently delivers. You can feed 600 or more documents into its massive 20 inch feed opening that accommodates exceptionally large items. The high quality, German-made cutting head shreds CDs, hardbound documents, VHS tapes and 3-ring binders.The built in centralized oiler ensures that the cutting head is properly lubricated to maintain smooth, efficient performance. This robust paper shredder comes equipped with an emergency stop button, electronically controlled safety guard, user-friendly control panel and an exceptionally big feed table that has a conveyor belt, enabling easy and safe operation.The dual 3 phase motor runs at an impressive 24 maximum horsepower, and is rated for continuous operation.
The 5009 cross cut offers 2 speeds: "Power" for bulk feeding of large amounts and "Speed" for faster shredding of smaller quantities. The door on the back of the machine provides easy access to the large shred compartment. Built-in heavy duty mobility casters allow the Destroyit 5009 to be relocated to wherever it's needed. A great optional accessory is the modular conveyor belt system. It moves the shreds to an external container, completely eradicating the need for bags.
