This Destroyit 4005 cross cut level 4 shredder offers quality shredding and reliable operation. The 16" wide feed opening handles up to 20 sheets, shredding at a speed of 30 feet per minute. This Destroyit 4005 shreds your files into security level 4, tiny 3/32" x 5/8" particles. The high quality, hardened steel cutting shaft shreds through staples, paper clips, CDs, and credit cards. These cutting shafts are backed by MBM's lifetime warranty, so you never have to worry about them breaking. Although this cross cut model accepts a decent amount of paper at a time, it is recommended that you still feed your documents slowly. The "ECC" (Electronic Capacity Control) panel will indicate sheet capacity levels during operation. This control panel helps prevent paper jams or malfunctions by alerting you when levels are too high. Should a paper jam inevitably occur, the Destroyit 4005 will automatically go into reverse in order to remedy this problem. The "SPS" (Safety Protection System) comprehensive package features a protective shield located in the feed opening, which prevents you from getting harmed during the shredding process.

Everything is kept running smoothly thanks to the automatic oiler, double protection against overheating, and durable motor gears protected from dust and other debris. The convenient photo cell sensors automatically begins shredding when they sense paper in the feed opening, and automatically stops when there is no more paper.
