Description of the Ameri-Shred AMS-750 Cross Cut Industrial Shredder
Ameri-Shred's Series 1 of industrial paper shredders are available in 4 models, with shredding capacity ranging from 250 to 900 lbs. per hour. Each model offers the power and drive you expect for centralized shredding. The cutters are strong and durable enough to shred through massive amounts of some of toughest materials.
The AMS-750 is the third in this series, and offers a robust and effective 7.5 HP motor. Destroying anywhere between 400-750 lbs. per hour, precision ground A-2 steel cutters tear through 62 feet per minute. The AMS-750CC handles stacks of paper, corrugated boxes, credit cards, CDs/DVDs, VHS tapes and so much more! With a pick of three different cross cuts, 1/8" x 5/8" , 1/8" x 1-1/2" , and 1/4" x 1-7/8" , your materials will be thoroughly destroyed regardless of the choice. For even more efficient workflow, users can consider installing the optional output conveyor or bag holder. Auto lubrication is available, recommended for keeping this shredder in top shape. The AMS-750 is available in 208, 230, and 460 volt and 1 or 3 phase. While most choose to run these shredders on 3 phase, please note that capacities may decrease when operating with 1 phase.
The 16" wide infeed conveyor accommodates a range of material sizes, and the table space allows the user to store pending items. A pullout chaff reject draw allows for the collection of residue from the input conveyor belt, removing paper build up from around the motor. Rugged, all steel construction promises longevity and durability. Immense in size, the AMS-750 offers dimensions of 59" L x 36" W x 47.5" H and weighs in at a sturdy 1725 lbs. This unit can be easily moved and relocated around your production center, warehouse, or work area thanks to the heavy duty casters.
