New Features We Love

The 208J has the ability to process up to 14,400 sheets per hour, a significant difference from the 10,500 that the 207M can handle. It can handle paper sizes as small as 3.5” x 5”, all the way up to 11” x 17”. The 208J can also fold paper weights from 12 up to 80 lbs. With a new and improved sheet capacity of 500 sheets, a whole ream of paper can be inserted in the load tray. At dimensions 21.5” x 40.6” x 19.7”  and a shipping weight of 67 lbs., the 208J ships ground, unlike other folders of similar features and specifications.

The 208J has 3 special folding modes that aren’t seen on any other folder. Noise Reduction Mode is perfect for offices where space may be cramped. The folder, while operating at a slower rate, will be much quieter. It’s the perfect setting to use if you need to have the folding machine set up in the same area that other employees will be working. The second special folding mode is Quick Mode, or Turbo Mode. This allows users with large paper jobs to conduct the same high quality folds, at a faster rate. The last mode that the 208J features is the Thick Paper Mode. This allows the user to use paper weight up to 80 lbs., while still experiencing the same high quality folds that you would see on standard
paper weights.

MBM keeps user experience in mind when designing their folders, and the 208J is no exception. The 208J fold plates feature, color coded, simplified graphics and measurements that will prove easy to use for any operator. The quick release rollers were also designed for user simplicity. It makes maintenance and cleaning simple.
