Description of the Standard 3050 X
The Standard 3050 X Cross Cut shredder can reduce up to 12 sheets to level 3 security that is 1/8'' x 1 3/16'' pieces. It is the most popular version of cut type for the 3050-series and comes with a Standard lifetime warranty. The 3050 X meets FACTA-level requirements (level 3 or higher). This shredder's 10'' throat width shreds at 18 feet per minute and can shred through staples and paper clips.The 3050 X has a 16 gallon bin capacity with an automatic shut-off control that stops shredding once the waste bag needs emptied.
The Standard 3050 X Cross Cut shredder is 30.5'' high, 16.75'' inches wide, and 15.25'' inches deep and weighs about 100 pounds. It is powered by a 1/2 horsepower non-continuous motor. This unit has an automatic on/off feature, bag full/jam detector, and casters for easy mobility. Because it is a cross cut-type shredder, it fills waste bags less, allowing for more shred time between bag changes.
