Q: Does this stamper have auto update capability or do you have to update the date manually each day?
A: All electro-pneumatic clocks are considered "dumb" clocks. The time and date automatically advance, but they will not adjust for the end of the month or for daylight savings. For example on March 31st at midnight, the clock will go to March 32nd. On the bright side though, electro-pneumatic clocks are much more durable than their computerized "smart" counterparts and they can be equipped with custom messages.
Q: Can I personalize stamper to also print an additional notation for example "Human Resources".
A: Absolutely! Custom messages are applied using "Upper Dye Plate" or "Lower Dye Plate". They can each have up to three lines of text, for a total of six lines of text above or below the time/date impression. You can also speak with a Whitaker Brothers representative to order your custom engraved plates.
Q: Need a time and date stamper that allows us to input an office name above the date stamp.
A: No problem! What you're looking for is an "Upper Dye Plate" which is an accessory for the time and date stamp.
Q: Will I be able to customize this clock with our company name, etc.?
A: Absolutely! What you're looking for are called custom dye plates and can be found on the right side of the product page. You can have an upper dye plate, and a lower dye plate, each one with a maximum of three lines of text. If the online dye plate process isn't to your liking we're happy to take an order over the phone as well.
