Description of Phiston MediaVise® Compact Hard Drive Destroyer
The MediaVise Compact HDD with chute option delivers a whopping, unmatched 40,000 lbs of hydraulic power. Equipped with corrugated plates, the Compact HDD crushes hard drives, cell phones, and PDAs with ease. Its compact size is ideal for smaller work areas or for the convenience of having a destroyer right by your side. The MediaVise Compact HDD is also NSA approved, meeting all the requirements for safe hard drive destruction and disposal.
The MediaVise Compact HDD is more compact than it's already desktop friendly full sized counterpart. Its unobtrusive size fits anywhere in any office and comes with a chute for around $600. Usually, the compact collection drawer will only hold the debris of one destroyed hard drive, due to its small size, but the chute accessory ejects and empties into any container or waste disposal placed in front of the chute. This allows the Compact HDD to work continuously and users don't have to empty debris after every use. Simply keep loading hard drives and watch as debris is easily ejected out of the chute and directly into any designated disposal bin. And its fully automated system requires nothing more than pushing a button to start destruction. Hard drives are rendered unreadable and data unrecoverable in only 30 seconds.
