The FA 500.3 high-performance document shredder and efficient KP 88 baling press combine to form the HSM SP 5088 system. Featuring a spacious loading table and superior electric conveyor belt, the HSM 5088 is ideal for companies requiring reliable professional or industrial data destruction. Shred an assortment of items, including paper, three-ring binders, and cardboard. Materials are emptied into the shredder, reducing your once solid materials into 1/2" x 1-1/2" - 3" level 2 cross cut particles. The HSM 5088 guarantees smooth and efficient productivity, destroying up to 700kg per hour and between 600-650 sheets. The useful keypad allows for continuous operation as well as reverse operation. In the event of a paper jam, the HSM SP 5088 automatically switches into reverse mode, powering through until the jam is remedied. To maintain and extend the life of your shredder, the automatic oiler must be used on a consistent basis.
As your materials are prepared for pressing, the shreds are collected in the filling hatch. A separate inspection hatch is available for adding non-sensitive material or boxes separately. The automatic photoelectric control activates the pressing process once shredded material is detected in the filling hatch. The result: perfectly formed 15.7" - 37.4"L x 19.7" W x 19.7"H bales. The HSM 5088's PLC control unit features multi-language display and convenient menu navigation. No need to wait around for the baling process to finish. Feel free to move on to another task. "Bale ready" will display to alert the user when the pressing process is complete. The manual, 3-fold strapping system offers continuous polyester strapping of your finished bales. Standard equipment includes a polythene bag attachment and 5 plastic bags.
