Q: My PS825S shredstar got jammed. I unplugged it and cleaned out the jam, but now I cannot get it to work again. Suggestions?
A: Low end paper shredders usually have a cool-down time of 40-60 minutes. When jammed they work far harder than when they rotate paper through normally, so it's possible your shredder merely needs to cool off. If rest doesn't fix the problem and the shredder makes absolutely no sound at all when activated, my guess is the motor went bad. If it is still under warranty you can contract HSM to discuss whether that would be covered or not.
