Description of the Formax FD 8400 High Security Shredder

The Formax FD 8400 High Security shredder with Level 6 Security is NSA Evaluated and Listed on the NSA/CSS Evaluated Products List for Paper Shredders. The FD 8400HS shreds up to 7 sheets at once with a shred size of 1/32" x 3/16". The high quality geared motor and heat-treated steel cutters prove that this machine will operate with efficiency and reliability. The FD 8400 series strives to fix paper jams and overloads immediately with the auto reverse function. Large shredding jobs are not a problem thanks to the continuous-duty motor which allows for non-stop operation. The Auto cleaning feature is extremely useful during shredding downtime. The optional EvenFlow Automatic Oiling System located on the side of the shredder helps to keep the FD 8400HS in peak operating condition. The metal cabinet, casters, and shredder bin are all durable and dependable. In addition to the auto sensor feature, the FD 8400 also has a manual function for shredding small paper which cannot be detected by the sensors.
