Description of the Formax 6404 Folder Inserter
The six station Formax FD 6404-Special 6 Inserter comes equipped with two special feeders. Pair the 6404-Standard 6 with a high-capacity production feeders, or short feed trays. The color touchscreen offers incredible technology and user-friendly features to make each mailing a breeze. The convenient cascade mode maximizes output by connecting multiple feeders filled with the same document. As one feeder empties, the next available feeder automatically begins pulling your documents. Other than the amazing capabilities and capacity this 6404-Special 6 offers, security is also a top priority. Double document detectors are located at the feeder and insertion area to guarantee that double documents are rejected by the system. The 6404 utilizes electromechanical detectors which operate with any print density, paper color, thickness or paper dust. A handy diverter catches double documents or incomplete sets that require inspection and send them automatically into the divert station, without interrupting your mailing.
