Description of the Formax FD 6404 Special 2 Folder Inserter
The Formax 6404-Special 2 is a two-station inserter equipped with 1 standard feeder and 1 special feeder located at the bottom. The full-color touchscreen offer insight on your inserter's operational status. This flexible control panel flips down and reverses for use on the opposite side. The standard and special feeders each hold up to 325 sheets of glossy or thick stock. This means the Formax 6404-Special 2 processes up to 650 sheets in one cycle. The large envelope hopper also holds 325 envelopes at a time and produces 4,000 completed pieces each hour. The AutoSet function makes setup for the 6404 extremely easy. By automatically measuring paper length, envelope size, and fold length, the AutoSet properly configures the settings for you. The 6404-Special 2 allows you to program up to 25 jobs, perfect for recurring or frequently used jobs. The automatic envelope sealing option can also be saved in programmed jobs. Protect against double-documentation thanks to the double-document detector. A special diverter redirects double documents and incomplete sets without interrupting your whole project.
