Description of the Fellowes Quasar Wire Binding Machine
Wire binding is a great way to make professional-looking presentations and reports. The Quasar wire binding machine by Fellowes was built for medium-duty projects in small offices. There are several features that make it a very user-friendly tool for any office. This wire binding machine allows for continuous punch and bind activity in order to maximize productivity. The Quasar includes adjustable edge guides to help you easily center your documents as well as a see-through window to alert you when the waste drawer needs to be emptied. The Fellowes Quasar can punch up to 15 sheets of paper at one time and binds up to 130 sheets of paper with a 9/16" wire. Paper is loaded vertically into the machine to ensure accurate punch alignment. In addition, this wire binding machine comes with a comb storage tray, a document measurement tool and a binding starter pack that includes a 20-pack assorted kit.
Q: Does this binding machine use standard wire sizes that are available at many office supply stores or does it only work with brand specific wire binding?
A: We've only ever run the Quasar using Fellowes wires. Are generics out there? Probably, but we can't guarantee the performance of the equipment or quality of the bind using off-brand wire.
