This strip cut model offers the same superior features as its cross cut companion, the Fellowes 325Ci. The 9 ½" feed opening allows for 24 sheets per pass, as the Fellowes 325i destroys 20 feet per minute. 7/32" strips fall into the cardboard shred bin, which holds up to 22 gallons of shredded material. Overflow is prevented thanks to the bin full light. Not only does the Fellowes 325i handle your documents and junk mail, this strip cut shredder also breaks down staples, credit cards, paper clips, and CDs/DVDs.
Paper jams can hinder office productivity and slow down daily operations. Thankfully, the Fellowes 325i shreds through even the toughest jobs with the 100% Jam Proof System. Offering three levels of protection, the Fellowes 325i measures your paper thickness, and will either power through the paper you feed or will automatically switch into auto reverse until the damage is repaired. The final level of jam protection provides you with instant feedback as to whether or not you are within the recommended sheet capacity.
Shredder noise is dramatically decreased thanks to the SilentShred technology, allowing you to work without shredding distractions. Can this shred shipping cardboard boxes?
No, it is not close to powerful enough for an application like that. If you are looking to turn cardboard into packing material then I recommend you take a look at the HSM ProfiPack C400 or P425 on our website. Those machines are designed specifically for that application. Cardboard in a paper shredder is otherwise hit or miss.
