Description of the Datastroyer 225 Disintegrator
The Datastroyer 225 is perfect for mid-volume data destruction. Weighing 2,300 lbs. and with 65"H x 29"W x 49"D dimensions, the Datastroyer 225 is a sizable giant. However, moving this powerhouse disintegrator takes little effort thanks to the convenient swivel casters. The High Chrome/High Carbon D2 steel, 7 knife design is perfect for destroying paper, optical media, bulky plastics, fabrics, and soft metals. The 5 rotor knives rapidly spin to break down your materials with the help of two reversible bed knives. Why is having reversible bed knives important? Unlike our competitor's knives, our reversible high carbon D2 steel bed knives allow for a longer lifespan as well as reduced number of resharpening trips. Our open rotor construction increases airflow, reduces heat and guarantees higher productivity compared to a closed rotor design. Choose from a variety of screen sizes: 3/16", 1/4", and more up to 1". The 3/32" is NSA approved in accordance with NSA/CSS specifications for destroying paper, keytape, and optical media.
With a rated throughput of 1,200 lbs. per hour, the Datastroyer works hard to destroy your materials with its 25 HP motor. The sizable 12" x 16" throat opening accommodates a wide variety of material sizes. The soundproofed base stifles operational noise ensuring that your work environment will not be constantly disturbed. The high inertia flywheel and rotor permit low RPM operation and reduced energy consumption. Need to service your disintegrator? The front-feed, hinged hopper features a removable flap and tilts out of the way for unobstructed access to the internal components.
