Cumberland 810X Beside-The-Press (800X Series)

The Cumberland 810X Beside-The-Press is the smallest in the series with an 8" x 10" cutting chamber. The pivoting hopper can accept hand, robotic, and conveyor feeds safely. Because it is a low speed series, it also uses an oversized flywheel to help with friction from multiple types of feedstock. The Cumberland 810X Beside-The-Press can deliver a throughput of around 123 pounds per hour thanks to its three knife, open scooped rotors with rotating end discs. The HCHC knives use Cumberland's special heat treating processes, which provide long term use and reliable results. Each of the 800X series granulators are equipped with TEFC 10HP motors. They are controlled with NEMA Type 12 controls and feature simple start and stop push buttons as well as safety interlocks.
As indicated, they are compact and portable units that offer a low profile to ensure optimal beside the press functions. They are easy to maintain and have bolted cutting chambers and drop down screen cradles for easy cleaning or maintenance. Waste from the Cumberland 810X Beside-The-Press is evacuated into a manual bin, though there are some options for upgrades to the discharge system. The Cumberland 810X Beside-The-Press can be enhanced with a 7.5 to 10 HP TEFC motor. The discharge system can be fit with a vacuum take off in sizes of 1.25, 1.5, 2, and 2.5 inches accordingly. The knives can be upgraded to D2 components as well as being enhanced with wear resistant options for any application in which abrasion or wear is an issue. The Cumberland 810X Beside-The-Press can also feature a manual feed chute.
