Description of the Ameri-Shred AMS-2500 Strip Cut Industrial Shredder
If you are looking for a mid-duty industrial shredder that can handle between 1-3 tons of material per hour, consider the Ameri-Shred AMS-2500. Offering quality engineering and design, the AMS-2500 features 25 HP drive, which is capable of powering through up to 4,000 lbs. per hour. This industrial unit shreds your materials into four different shred widths: 5/16" , 3/8" , 1/2", and 5/8" . Each strip size has corresponding capacity potential: 1,950-2,600 lbs., 2,100-2,800 lbs., 2,700-3,600 lbs., and 3,000-4,000 lbs. In total, the AMS-2500 destroys up to 90 feet per minute.
How do these shredders handle such high volumes? Internally, the user will find the technologically advanced, fine tuned cutter assembly with self-sharpening, A-2 steel and positive sawtooth grip. These 10 3/4" cutters tear apart everything from stacks of computer paper, phone books, and more. The unique design of these shredders ensures quick and easy maintenance. Auto lubrication is available, oiling the cutters and keeping this unit in optimal condition. The spur gears also run in an oil bath, staying lubricated for maximum efficiency.
Load your materials and documents onto the wide 20" W x 71.5" L infeed conveyor. This sizable conveyor allows for efficient workflow, paired with the extra large feed table for storing materials that need destroyed. The hefty Ameri Shred AMS-2500 offers dimensions of 111.5" L x 62" W x 67" H and weighs an incredible 5,000 lbs. Heavy duty casters provide easier mobility throughout your warehouse or recycling plant. When paired with a T-3 box dumper, output conveyor & baler, the Ameri-Shred AMS-2500 maximizes efficiency for high volume document destruction and recycling.
