Description of the Akiles Finish@Coil E1
The Akiles Finish@Coil E1 electric coil inserter is similar to the Finish@Coil M with one major difference. The E1 has a built in electric crimper that's foot pedal operated for smooth, effortless crimping. The Finish@Coil offers fast and easy set up and can handle a wide range of coil sizes from 6mm to 50mm. The electric inserter features a full length roller with an adjustable bottom roller that can be set to accommodate various coil sizes. For added convenience there is synchronized adjustment of the roller and the crimper angle so you can be sure you have the exact settings for your coil size. Not sure what coil size to use for your project? Use the built in coil diameter selector that helps you select the proper coil size based on the thickness of your document. There is also a coil diameter scale to verify coil diameter size and a coil pitch identifier to verify that coil pitch matches the punched document.
Once you have the proper coil size for your project and the rollers have been set, lay your document with the coil partially inserted in the first few holes on the bottom roller and lightly touch it to the top roller, use the foot pedal control to quickly insert the coil. After the coil is inserted, the Finish@Coil E1 can automatically switch from inserter mode to crimp mode thanks to its built in sensors. Now the foot pedal controls the electric crimp tool. With other binding machines, crimping still needs to be done manually which is not only time consuming but tiring on the wrists. The electric crimp feature on the Finish@Coil E1 means crimping is done in less time with less fatigue. The Finish@Coil E1 by Akiles brings ease of use, speed and efficiency to the binding process and is a must have for large facilities with high volume binding needs.
