Description of the Rhin-O-Tuff 7000 Heavy Duty Electric Open-Ended Punch
The Rhin-O-Tuff 7000 heavy-duty desktop punch is a one-of-a-kind machine with many features that put it right at the top of its class. Perhaps this machine's most popular feature is its patented anti-jam feature that automatically puts the machine into reverse mode when it detects an overload. The 7000's 14" vertical throat allows it to handle large projects and can accommodate up to 40 sheets of paper at once, depending on the die you are using. This machine is very fast and efficient and is able to complete approximately 90 cycles per minute. Additionally, the 7000 has more than 20 interchangeable dies with which it can operate and it comes with your choice of one of these dies.It offers three different modes of operation, which increases ease of use. You can use either the standard foot pedal, a versa switch or palm switch. Regardless of which mode of operation you choose, the Rhin-O-Tuff 7000 offers quiet, smooth operation. This machine also features a pre-set paper stop guide to ensure accurate results. Odd-size applications are easily accommodated using the 7000's sight alignment feature.
Another of its most popular features is its patented Quick Change Die System, which allows you to change the machine's die without using any tools or taking anything apart. All of the machine's punch pins can be easily disengaged as well. This is a heavy, sturdy machine that is made completely from metal, making it a very durable, long-lasting machine.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
IS THIS MACHINE THE SAME AS THE OLD HD 6500 AND WOULD THE DIES BE THE SAME ?
Very similar, but not identical. Any dies you have for the 6500 would not be compatible with the 7000.
