Description of the Standard 2020 S
The Standard 2020 is a level 2 strip cut shredder designed for the needs of a home or office. Two beneficial qualities of a strip cutter is that they require less maintenance and fill up bins less quickly than cross-cut models. The 2020's ¦ horsepower, 115 volt motor is capable of shredding 8 sheets at a time with the ability to shred 22 feet per minute. With a mouth width of 9 ½" the 2020 is able to destroy a wide array of documents. The plastic cabinet can hold up to 6 ½ gallons of waste volume prior to being emptied.
The 2020 also has an automatic on/off feature which allows for hands free operation.One sensor on the 2020 S prevents the machine from operating if the waste door is open, a necessary safety feature on all Standard shredders. The 2020 can be moved with ease thanks to its 19 pound shipping weight and 18"Hx 16.5"Wx 10.75"D dimensions.
