Fellowes AutoMax 500CL Shredder (Discontinued)

Effective and user friendly, the Fellowes AutoMax 500CL provides truly hands free shredding. Load up to 500 sheets of paper, no need to remove paper clips, staples or even wrinkles. Press start and let the 500CL do the rest. Fellowes uses SureFeed Technology and their patented JamGuard System to ensure continuous shredding without supervision leaving more time for other office tasks. It's also able to shred CDs, DVDs, credit cards and junk mail.

Despite being a powerful shredder, the AutoMax 500CL is surprisingly compact at only 36 inches tall and thanks to SilentShred it's also surprisingly quiet so it won't disrupt normal office operations. But the most important feature with any shredder is the security it provides. The AutoMax 500CL meets security level P-4 with a shred size of 5/32" x 1-1/2". While in use, the 500CL employs the SmartLock security system which locks the drawer containing the documents to be shredded. Even in the event of a power outage, the drawer will stay locked until all documents have been shredded. When shredding is complete, simply empty the 22 gallon corrugate bin that's included with the shredder.
