The Formax FD 8500 Cross Cut provides safety and productivity for all of your shredding jobs. This Cross Cut machine self maintains with its self diagnostic system, auto cleaning function, and optional EvenFlow™ Automatic Oiling System. The considerably extra-wide 16” feed opening accepts many types of paper, including green-bar computer forms. The Safety Circuit Breaker ensures secure operation should a malfunction occur. Sensors within the machine detect paper in the feed opening and automatically start operation. The LED control panel has a load indicator, measuring the amount of paper loaded into the feeder. If a paper jam occurs, the auto reverse function switches the gears into reverse and automatically repairs the problem. The FD 8500CC is capable of shredding up to 18 sheets at a time and up to 33 feet per minute, with a shred size of 5/32" x 1 1/5". The steel cutters are specially ground to ensure long lasting performance and require minimal maintenance. Thanks to the high performance AC geared-motor, the 8500CC emits minimal noise.
