Description of the Formax FD 8250CC Deskside Shredder

The new Formax FD 8250CC Cross Cut shredder offers power and control in a compact design. Shredding at a speed of 14 feet per minute, the Formax 8250CC can shred up to 8 sheets of 20# paper or 1 credit card at a time. As a security level 4 shredder, this cross cut machine produces a shred size of 1/16” x 9/16”. Optical sensors within the feed opening detect paper and automatically begin operation. Should a paper jam occur, the Formax 8250 will switch into the reverse mode and eliminate the paper jam. The transparent, fill-level window makes it easy to see when the waste bin requires emptying. The removable waste bin is sturdy and reliable, ensuring that waste disposal is trouble-free. Overflowing waste bins are a thing of the past. When the 9 gallon capacity bin is full, automatic sensors will cut off power to the shredder. Until the waste bin is replaced in the shredder, the door safety sensor will not allow operation to begin. Cost effective and energy efficient, the Formax 8250 offers a stand-by feature which puts the machine into a power saving mode when inactive. Although it is small in size, the Formax 8250 Cross Cut shredder ensures high performance and high quality results.
