This is no ordinary office shredder. The HSM Securio P44 offers impressive capabilities like no other Securio model. Firstly, this level 4/P-5 shredder boasts a sheet capacity of up to 30 sheets per pass. Documents are fed into the extra wide 16" opening, and are broken down into 1/16" x 9/16" particles. The result: 2,116 micro-cut pieces for every page that is destroyed. Secondly, specially-hardened solid steel cutting rollers dominate not only paper, but also staples, paper clips, credit cards, CDs/DVDs, and floppy disks. While some models require users to feed paper and plastics in the same opening, the Securio P44 offers a separate slot for feeding CDs/DVDs, credit cards, and floppy disks. This keeps plastic and paper residue separate. Your shredded documents collect in the large 55 gallon shred bag. The reusable shred bag makes for easy removal and disposal of shredded waste.
An intuitive multifunctional operation button provides users with real-time operational status. This button features icons for paper jam, door open, container full, button lock, metal detection, and oil reservoir empty. For those looking to ignore the recommended sheet capacity and overfeed the shredder, be prepared for some serious paper jams. When a jam occurs, the paper jam icon will illuminate and the JamStop Anti-Jam technology activates. The P44 will automatically switch into reverse, and continue to run in reverse until the jam is repaired.
The powerful motor guarantees reliable operation even under a continuous load. After a period of idleness, the Securio P44 will slip into stand-by mode. Energy-savings is guaranteed with the Energy Management Control System, which reduces power consumption by up to 90%. Users can either press the multifunctional button or simply begin feeding paper to reactivate the shredder. For a more peaceful shredding process, the Whisper Shred technology helps lower noise levels to a near whisper.
The German-made HSM Securio P44 offers a comprehensive safety system for assured user protection. This Securio unit requires a 20 amp dedicated line with 20 amp receptacle. HSM Securio (Models AF150, AF300, AF500, B22, B24, B26, B32, B34, B35, P36i, P40i, P44i) – Office / Large Office / Department Shredders
Parts and labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to three (3) years from date of invoice. Strip and Cross Cut Cutting Rollers are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for the life of the shredder from the date of invoice.
Level 5 and High Security Level 6 Shredders
Parts & labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to three (3) years from date of invoice. Cutting Rollers on all high security units that have an oiler installed are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for five (5) years from date of invoice. Failure to lubricate these machines properly will void the warranty. Cutting Rollers on High Security Shredders purchased without an oiler are warranted for one (1) year.
HSM Standard Warranty
HSM warrants that any new products sold will be free from defects in material and workmanship when used under specified and normal operating conditions. This warranty is void if repairs are necessitated by accidents, misuse, abuse, water damage or fire. Please read the Manufacturer’s Operating Instructions, included with the product, prior to operation, to help ensure all precautions are taken to avoid canceling the manufacturer’s warranty. Modifications, alterations and repairs must be performed by an authorized technician. Lubrication for cross-cut shredders is required every fifteen to thirty minutes of operation, to maintain top working condition and this warranty.
In all cases, the final authority in determining cutting system defects lies with the manufacturer. All cutting systems must be returned to the manufacturer.
