Description of the Formax FD 8806CC
The FD 8806 by Formax is perfect for large facilities looking for a centralized shredder. Stacks of computer forms, cardboard, CD's, and even entire files are no problem for the FD 8806. This heavy duty, conveyor fed shredder features a large infeed table and a wide 16" feed opening. The conveyor feed system and continuous duty motor allows the FD 8806 to shred 90 sheets per pass and up to 43ft per minute.
Safety and ease of use are two of the main components of the FD 8806. An LED control panel with an easy to read load indicator shows the user how close they are to maximum shred capacity, so overloading and jams can be avoided. Other indicators show when the door is open or the waste bin is full. The FD 8806 can be run in Auto Start/Stop mode or Manual mode depending on the type and volume of materials to be shredded. A large safety bar at the front of the conveyor allows for immediate shut off of the shredder.
The FD 8806 is kept running smoothly and efficiently thanks to the built in Even Flow TM Automatic Oiling System and the Auto Cleaning mode which works to clear shredding debris from the blades to prevent jams.
