The Formax FD 7200 Special 2 is a part of the new 7200 Series Inserters by Formax. This high volume modular inserter offers a tower feeder sheet capacity of two 500-sheet Flex-Feeders. Offering up to 11 optional feed stations and high-capacity feeders, this top of the line inserter surpasses its competition. Setup for the 7200 Series is simple and easy. Choose any job from the memory, and it will automatically configure to the appropriate settings. No mechanical adjustments are required. The top-loading envelope hopper holds up to an amazing 800 #10 envelopes or 500 flats in landscape orientation. Inserting envelopes into the landscape flats ensures higher processing speeds, much fewer jams, and is cost effective. Thanks to the optional High-Capacity Versatile Feeders, the 7200 Series is capable of inserting 50-page documents, coated and glossy booklets, and DVDs. Other inserting features include double document detection, daily mail mode, and air assist insertion. The Inserter base can use distilled water and holds gallons of sealing fluid.
With its exclusive scanning capability, the 7200 Series is capable of reading any type of code, Single-Track OMR, Dual-Track OMR, 1D Barcode, and 2D Data Matrix Barcode, which can then be printed any where on your document. The 7200 series is completely flexible, handling any form layout you require. Several different fold types are available: Fold Types: C, Half, Z, Double Parallel and no fold. The powerful folding capacity allows up to 16 pages in a 6" x 9.5" envelope or 8 pages in a #10 envelope.
Frustrating and time-consuming folding jobs are a thing of the past. This 7200 Series is the definition of speed, processing up to 4,800 envelopes per hour and 2,000 sheets continuously. The duty cycle for the 7200 Series is up to 200,000 envelopes per month. The "Ease of Use" production inserter provides you with incredible high speed performance. One vital feature the 7200 Series offers is the intuitive 15" color touchscreen inferface. This touchscreen moniter offers a job programming wizard, which allows for unlimited programming options, making setup and operation exceptionally uncomplicated. The interactive display provides the user with the time remaining until job completion, another supreme feature. The high speed performance and high capacity feeder inserts allow for a severely decreased downtime and number of stoppages to refill your documents. This is known as "Real Practical Speed" and allows the user to work on other tasks while the 7200 is in use. The optional data logging function provides the user with a full production report and is perfect for companies that wish to keep track of mailings and ensure mailing integrity.
