Description of the Formax FD 6606 Standard 5 Folder Inserter
The FD 6606 Standard 5 Inserter does all the work for you. Replacing the 6604 series, the 6606 series is packed with high-tech features to make folding and inserting easier for users. The Standard 5 is capable of taking on thousands of sheets without any problems. Capable of processing up to 80,000 finished pieces a month or 4,300 piece in just an hour, the FD 6606 series offers so many choices and features in a single machine to maximize efficiency and convenience. The Standard5 is equipped with the typical high-quality technology as other models, the difference being the number of and type of feeders. The Standard 5 is built with five standard feeders, each with a capacity of 325 sheets. Despite its size, the 6606 inserter is user-friendly and works to decrease user labor. From the very start, presence detectors will indicate paper size, thickness, and color for fast assessment and easy configuration.
The inserting giant works to fold documents into mailers, even stuffing and sealing envelopes is desired. Process thousands of mailers in an hour and produce up to 80,000 in a month. Control the machine and all its configurations via the 10.4" wide color touch screen. Monitor progress and save up to 50 programmable jobs for different configurations. Feeders are also equipped with capabilities to make the job even easier. Electromechanical detectors measure the length of paper and that information is displayed on the control panel so users can select the best setting. feeder holds 325 sheets and, thanks to cascade mode, automatically starts loading from the next feeder as one empties. If needed, the Standard 5 can even collate documents for you, thanks to CIS scanning technology. With optional BCR, OMR, and OCR functions, document codes and numbers are scanned for automated collating and multiple page insertion. Not only does it provide flexibility, but it eliminates the need for users to manually collate or prepare ordered documents prior to folding and inserting. And just in case there are incomplete stacks, documents are then redirected to the divert station to wait for inspection. Even single sheet documents are diverted with the Double Document detector. It also automatically engages an energy saving standby mode if idle for than an hour. The Standard5 is an inserting giant designed to take on huge job loads without inconveniencing users.
