Description of the Formax FD 6404-Standard 6 Folder Inserter
The Formax FD 6404-Standard 6 is a six station inserter with six standard feeders. These standard feeders each hold 325 sheets at a time, processing a total of 1,950 sheets! With incredible inserting capabilities, the 6404-Standard 6 offers a top-loading envelope hopper for 325 envelopes, as well as an output envelope tray to hold 500 finished materials. Overall, the 6404 processes up to 4,000 envelopes per hour and recommends a duty cycle of 60,000 pieces per month. Load your envelopes on the fly thanks to the continuous operation motor. This folder-inserter processes up to 10 sheets in half-fold or 8 sheets in tri fold. Five different fold types are available: C, Half, Z, Double Parallel and no fold. This beast of a machine features a color touch screen with user-friendly applications and programming capacity. Avoid potential mailing errors thanks to the double document detection and diverter which redirects said documents or incomplete sets without interrupting your mailing. As the folding and inserting of sheets, business reply envelopes and cards are taken care of automatically, the 6404 requires little training to operate.
