Description of the Duplo DFC-100 Collator
A complex single tower, Duplo's DFC-100 Friction Feed Collator is the best machine for short run demands. Though it stands and works as a single tower configuration, it can work in tandem with a Duplo booklet maker for a complete hands-free system. It tackles a variety of jobs, from calendars and booklets, to programs, manuals, magazines, and more. The DFC-100 comes equipped with programmed settings for standard jobs and instances of repeat jobs for faster collating. Programmable features include block mode for on the-run-loading, interleave mode for separating batched sets, and a total/remaining counter to keep track of jobs. With a production of up to 4200 sets per hour (format sizes from 160x140mm to 320x450mm ), the DFC-100 saves time and effort. The tower has a total of 10 bins. Each bin is equipped with 3 feed rollers provide maximum contact for precise friction feeding, adjustable separator, and tray pressure on each bin for different materials (including some coated papers). Sensors work to detect any doubled sheets, empty bins, and paper jams, halting production accordingly to prevent damages. Use features such as the fixed guide to align your papers and the movable guide to secure placement. Paper stacks can be up to 28mm thick in each feed tray and adjustable paper feed pressure will accommodate different stock types. Collated stacks can even be ejected in a straight pile, or offset manner for easy separation or for side stapling.
