The fast and efficient Formax Atlas Air Feed Document Folder is perfect for print shops that need a high volume folder but have minimal space. This sturdy, powerful folder can process a maximum 27,000 sheets per hour. The Atlas makes job set up quick and easy with six standard folds that come preset in letter, legal and ledger paper sizes giving you 18 preset options.

Simple to use dials with an LED display adjust and set the fully enclosed fold plates with a 0.1mm level of accuracy. A powerful air-suction feed table allows the Atlas to handle a wide variety of paper stocks, both coated and non-coated, in sizes up to 25.5 inches long. The smart design of the Atlas places the infeed table on the same side as the outfeed stacker for faster loading and unloading from the same position. The fold rollers on the Atlas consist of a composite material that can grip even high gloss stock and they are housed in a pull out cassette for easy access.

For more versatility, the Atlas includes a perforator / scorer that easily plugs in when needed and also acts as a roller bypass for cover stock to be folded but delivered flat. Other features that add to the Atlas's reliable performance include skew and micro adjustments for accurate precise folds, a programmable batch counter, anti-static brushes for better paper feeding, and a double document detector which prevents jams caused by double fed papers.
