The Formax AP4 Monochrome Digital Address Printer delivers speed and quality while handling high volume printing needs. It can print 26,000 #10 envelopes or 34,000 postcards per hour with print resolutions of up 600 DPI. It prints on a wide variety of coated and uncoated stocks.

It also features an infeed transport deck that has positionable transport belts and guides that run under the belts for spot-on print registration at high speeds. Three independent print head banks offer a total 4-inch print height, and can overlap if needed, with a maximum print range of 12.75”. It accommodates pieces up to 1/2” thick.

Like the other AP Digital Address Printers, the AP4 has user friendly 4.5” color touchscreen with backlight that allows users to preview jobs, change output speed, access troubleshooting tools, and even estimate the cost of a job before sending it to print.

Printing features of the AP4 include 4 – one-pass print options including: Address, Address + Return, Address + Return + Indicia, Address + Return + Indicia + Custom Tagline. It has an impressive image area of up to 4”H and 50”L and a variable print resolution from 150 DPI up to 600 DPI. It can also print on media up to ½” thick.
