Description of the Akiles MegaBind-2

The MegaBind-2 is a two in one punch and bind manual machine for easy comb binding. Punch up to 25 sheets at once (up to 14" in punching width) and easily assemble a book up to 2" thick. Like the MegaBind-1, the MegaBind-2 possesses same quality features including the efficient dual-handle system, sturdy all-metal construction, and a convenient waste compartment, but with an added wire closer for use with spiral O wire binding. Continuous binding control allows users to easily punch multiple same-size documents by preventing over-opening of combs. With the die disengagement system, users can pull individual pins to adjust to different paper sizes. Side margin control centers documents and punching margin control provides the best depth margin for every comb size and maximizes tear resistance. Use the binding guide to measure your documents and determine the proper comb size. Even with all these features, the MegaBind-2 is compact and economically priced.

The built-in wire closer on the MegaBind 2 is located right underneath the punching die and can fit wire binds up to 9/16" in size. To close the wire binding, simply pull the same handle for punching. The MegaBind-2 is an all-in-one convenient, cost efficient binder that can be placed virtually anywhere.
