The Standard 4070 X fully featured heavy-duty departmental shredder can handle the shredding needs of large departments and includes a 50-gallon waste capacity.

Description of the Standard 4070 X

The Standard 4070 X Cross Cut Shredder is capable of shredding to level 3 security with a shred size of 1/8'' x 1 5/8''. All Standard shredders come with a lifetime warranty. This is a large unit: 46.5"Ë ' high, 27.5'' wide, 24'' deep and weighing almost 380 pounds. Sporting a 2 horsepower continuous motor, the 4070 X shreds up to 22 feet per minute into its 50 gallon waste bin. The shred size of cross cut shredders like the 4070 X fill waste bins less than strip cut shredders, so the bags need changed less often.

This shredder is meant for paper products but is powerful enough to shred through staples and paper clips. It has a 38 sheet cross cut capacity through its 16'' throat width. The 4070 X features an automatic on/off switch as well as automatic reverse when paper jams occur and auto-off when the bag is full. This shredder meets FACTA-level security (level 3 or higher) and is safe for disposing of sensitive documents.
