Level 4/P-5 shredders are perfect for those seeking higher level security and the flexibility to still shred staples and paper clips. The HSM Securio B34 level 4/P-5 cross cut shredder takes it a step further, destroying personal credit cards and store cards as well. This is in part due to the 100% solid steel cutting cylinder. Specially-hardened, these cutting rollers tear through 13-15 sheet of paper at a time, creating 1/16" x 9/16" particles which fall directly into the 26.4 gallon shredder bag. This reusable shred bag fits conveniently on a pull-out system for quick and easy disposal. While users can simply open the cabinet door and check if the bag is full, shred level can also be monitored through the inspection window.
The HSM Securio B34 offers valuable technology, including JamStop, Whisper Shred, and the Energy Management Control System. When pesky paper jams slow down your work flow, JamStop automatically switches the device into reverse to overcome this problem and re-establish smooth operation. Rather than dealing with disruptive shredding sounds, the Whisper Shred technology lowers potential noise to a whisper, or between 55-58 dB. This continuous duty shredder will eventually slip into stand-by mode, where power consumption is reduced to up to an incredible 90%! The multifunctional operation button can be tapped or users can just start feeding paper to reactivate the shredder. This multifunctional button displays operational status, with icons for bag full, door open, and paper jam.
As a cross cut shredder, it is recommended this unit be oiled regularly in order to remain in peak operating condition. The HSM Securio B34 Level 4/P-5 can be equipped with an optional external oiler for convenient lubrication and maintenance. HSM Securio (Models AF150, AF300, AF500, B22, B24, B26, B32, B34, B35, P36i, P40i, P44i) – Office / Large Office / Department Shredders
Parts and labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to three (3) years from date of invoice. Strip and Cross Cut Cutting Rollers are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for the life of the shredder from the date of invoice.
Level 5 and High Security Level 6 Shredders
Parts & labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to three (3) years from date of invoice. Cutting Rollers on all high security units that have an oiler installed are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for five (5) years from date of invoice. Failure to lubricate these machines properly will void the warranty. Cutting Rollers on High Security Shredders purchased without an oiler are warranted for one (1) year.
HSM Standard Warranty
HSM warrants that any new products sold will be free from defects in material and workmanship when used under specified and normal operating conditions. This warranty is void if repairs are necessitated by accidents, misuse, abuse, water damage or fire. Please read the Manufacturer’s Operating Instructions, included with the product, prior to operation, to help ensure all precautions are taken to avoid canceling the manufacturer’s warranty. Modifications, alterations and repairs must be performed by an authorized technician. Lubrication for cross-cut shredders is required every fifteen to thirty minutes of operation, to maintain top working condition and this warranty.
In all cases, the final authority in determining cutting system defects lies with the manufacturer. All cutting systems must be returned to the manufacturer.
