Description of the FP LO3060 Letter Opener

The FP LO3060 letter opener from Francotyp-Postalia's Mailing Solutions is a high volume model built to handle a variety of flat envelopes and packages. Capable of opening up to 40,000 envelopes per hour, the FP LO3060 is incredibly fast and efficient. Using two motors, this model can handle envelopes and packages in a variety of shapes, up to 1/3" thick. Holding a stack of up to 150 envelopes at a time, the FP LO3060 quickly opens them in order from smallest to largest.

An important aspect of the FP LO3060 is its mill cutter technology. This method of simply chipping off bits of the envelope instead of simply chopping off one end not only produces a chadless and cleaner work area, but it also leaves a soft edge to the envelope so the user won't get paper cuts. This also protects the internal contents of the envelope that might otherwise accidentally get cut in the opening process. The depth of cut can be configured as well to 0.0" (not cut, just counting) to .125". The letter opener also comes with an optional counter and a variable speed control. It comes with a stand and a waste bin so there is no paper mess left behind.
