The FP LO3015 letter opener from Francotyp-Postalia Mailing Solutions is an incredibly cost-efficient model capable of handling a substantial amount of letters. Although the model is relatively small and compact, it can still open letters at a rate of 24,000 envelopes per hour. Even for the smallest uses, it will quickly pay for itself in productivity and the valuable time it saves the user. It can handle envelopes as much as ¼" thick and in a variety of shapes and sizes. It is extremely simple to operate and requires no prior training. Its "chadless" operation means that there is no mess of paper scraps at the end. By simply slitting open the envelope, no paper bits can mess up the workspace or create a paper jam.

The FP LO3015 is also very durable and well constructed. It is built for heavy duty use but has a very sleek design along with a small footprint so that it blends in well in any setting. The receiving tray that catches and neatly stacks opened envelopes comes standard and is detachable for easier storage. Additionally, an optional counter is available to keep track of the envelopes as they go through the machine to be opened.
