Description of the Formax FD 8802 Strip Cut Industrial Shredder

The Formax FD 8802 Strip Cut Industrial Shredder offers power and speed for large volume shredding jobs. The Formax FD 8802 Strip Cut model is capable of shredding up to 125 sheets at a time, at a speed of up to 50 feet per minute, and a shred size of 1/2" . Thanks to the specially heat-treated, solid-steel cutting blades and powerful AC geared-motor, the Formax 8802 is powerful enough to shred entire files, stacks of computer forms, tapes, CDs and ZIP disks. The Formax FD 8802SC and the FD 8802CC are the most advanced high volume industrial shredders on the market. This conveyor-fed shredder combines fully-automated features with industrial strength necessary for high volume centralized shredding. The waste bin can be accessed from the front, and the plastic shred bag can hold up to 49 gallons. When the waste bin reaches full capacity, the motor will stop automatically to avoid overflow. Like other Formax shredders, the Formax 8802 comes with a LED control panel with load indicator, Auto Start/Stop, Auto Reverse, and Auto Cleaning. In case of a shredding malfunction, simply press the large safety bar located on the front of the FD 8802 to immediately cease operation. The optional EvenFlow Automatic Oiling System maintains the Formax 8802 by lubricating the all-steel cutting blades.
