Description of the Formax FD 8500AF Autofeed Shredder
The Formax FD 8500AF AutoFeed Shredder offers two feeders, singling it out from the other Formax shredders. These two feeders allow for user convenience and flexibility. The Auto Feed Hopper offers hands-free operation and accepts up to 175 sheets at a time, up to 11” x 17”. This means no more time consuming shredding projects, feeding small stacks of paper one at a time into the feeder. Simply load your full stack of paper, and walk away. When your shredding project is finished, the FD8500AF will automatically shut off. The Standard Hand-Feed Hopper accommodates 16-18 sheets at a time, with a 16" wide throat. The Standard Hopper accepts staples, paper clips, and credit cards.
The LED colored control panel reads clearly and informs the user the status of the shredder. To ensure that your shredder will be long-lasting, the FD8500AF comes equipped with the Auto Cleaning function, Oil Indicator, and Self Diagnosis System. The 8500AF also avoids shredder malfunctions, and immediately self repairs paper jams when they occur. The Auto Reverse and Thermal Overload Protection help guarantee your shredder run properly. The FD 8500AF offers strength and durability with the all metal cabinets, sturdy casters, and heavy duty waste bin.
