The Formax FD 8400CC offers reliability and high performance in a compact design. The beneficial Auto Start/Auto Stop function offers optical sensors to detect paper and automatically begin operation. You no longer have to worry about paper jams due to the auto reverse feature, which will switch the internal motor to reverse to clear the jam. The LED Control Panel is user-friendly and ensures uncomplicated operation. The FD 8400 Cross-Cut is capable of shredding up to 20 sheets at once, up to 30 feet per minute, with a shred size of 5/32" x 1 1/5”. The high quality AC geared-motor with heavy duty steel gears ensures efficiency and quiet operation, perfect for any office environment. The heat-treated steel cutters are long-lasting and require minimal oiling and upkeep. If the shred capacity is decreased, simply press the reverse button for 5 seconds and the auto cleaning function will activate and the motor will run in reverse for 1 minute. After 4 hours of continuous use, the LED control panel flashes, suggesting the user oil the cutting blades, ensuring optimal performance.
