Checks, invoices, or any other mass folded documents of various lengths and thicknesses can be processed without fuss. Simply load all your documents and envelopes into the feeders (each standard feeder holds 325 sheets) and either enter a new setting or choose from up to 50 previously stored settings, and then step back as the FD 6606 folds (with or without envelopes) all your documents. It is capable of folding and inserting top, middle and bottom-address documents into top-flap envelopes in large loads and can even seal envelopes. Users can also select from a range of different models for specific needs. Models only differ between the number of feed stations, type of feed stations, and number of production feeders, but all possess the same high quality standard features that include a color touch screen, paper presence sensors, vertical output stacker, and an energy saving feature that automatically engages standby mode if the FD 6606 is idle for more than hour. The FD 6606 Standard 6 has six standard feeders that hold 325 sheets each and when one feeder is emptied, the 6606 immediately moves to the next feeder. In the event that documents are doubled or part of an incomplete set, a diverter redirects those to the divert station without interrupting the flow of production.
