The Formax FD 6404-Standard 4 is a four-station inserter with 4 standard feeders. As each of these sheet feeders accept 325 sheets of paper, this 6404 inserter can process up to 1,300 sheets at a time. With 5 different fold types, the 6404 can fold up to 10 sheets of paper (half-fold) and up to 8 sheets (tri-fold). If you are busy with multiple projects, feel free to walk away from the 6404 while it is operating. After an hour of inactivity, the energy saving mode shuts off the inserter’s power. Each 6404 comes with a large power stacker to accommodate 500 envelopes as well as a top-loading envelope hopper to hold 325 for continuous operation. This dominating folder-inserter processes up to 4,000 envelopes per hour. In order to keep your 6404 running in top condition, the recommended duty cycle is 60,000 pieces per month. A high-tech color touchscreen panel flips around for easier accessibility and is completely easy to use. The 6404 automatically senses paper length, envelope size, and fold length and sets up thanks to the AutoSet function. Capable of inserting into envelopes up to 6.3” H x 9.7” W, the 6404 handles paper sized up to 3.5” - 14” L x 5.1” - 9” W.
