Compact yet powerful, the FD 450 Envelope Opener is ideal for any business or department. It operates at a consistent, fixed speed of 300 envelopes per minute, which is quite fast. It can handle envelopes up to 3/16” thick. The FD 450 also features “chadless” cutting by only slitting the envelope open on one side. This not only leaves the contents inside unharmed, but also avoids messy paper scraps that disturb your work area that have to be cleaned up.

The FD 450 is also very versatile in the contents it can process. Envelopes of varied sizes can all be processed through the letter opener without having to be sorted beforehand, saving the user a lot of unnecessary hassle.
