Description of the Fellowes Fortishred 4850C Cross Cut Paper Shredder

The Fellowes Fortishred 4850C shreds up to 26* sheets at a time, transforming your documents into level 4, 5/32" x 1-9/16" particles. These pieces fall into the extremely large, 44 gallon shred bin. Feed your papers, paper clips, staples, credit cards, or even CDs and DVDs into the 15 ¾" paper opening. This TAA (Trade Act Agreement) Complaint shredder offers a continuous duty motor for non-stop shredding jobs. The energy friendly Fellowes 4850C automatically powers off after 30 minutes of inactivity. Weighing in at almost 200 lbs, the 4850 cross cut shredder is ideal for government and mid-size office spaces. The SilentShred technology decreases operation noise, guaranteeing ultra-quiet performance. In regards to safety, the Fortishred line offers an electronically controlled safety shield, which stops the shredding process if the shield is ever lifted.
